Combo Unit Rentals in River Grove, IL

Combo bounce house rentals: jump and slide in one unit

Ask any River Grove parent who has hosted a birthday in a modest Cook County backyard and they will tell you the same thing: space is the enemy. You want a bounce house and a slide, but a two-square-mile village does not come with sprawling lots. That is exactly the problem a combo unit solves. A combo bounce house packs a roomy jumping area, a built-in climb, a slide, and usually a basketball hoop or pop-up obstacles into a single footprint — one delivery, one blower, twice the fun.

Bounce Houses R Us has been the go-to for River Grove combos for over 15 years. Every unit is sanitized before each rental, Illinois state-inspected, and fully insured, with a certificate of insurance available whenever a venue requests one.

Why combos are the smart pick for River Grove parties

Because they do double duty, combos are the most versatile thing we rent. A combo keeps a wide age range entertained all afternoon — the younger kids stick to the bounce floor while the bigger ones cycle through the slide on repeat. For a typical River Grove guest list that spans cousins, neighbors, and a couple of classmates from the Rhodes School District, that flexibility is gold. And on the hottest days we can set up a wet combo so the slide runs with water, turning one rental into a splash zone.

We set up on grass with stakes, or on driveways and patios with sandbag anchoring — useful given how many River Grove homes have generous concrete out back. Standard rental time is 6 hours, with extended and overnight available on request. A deposit reserves the date; the balance is due on delivery.

Where River Grove families set up their combos

Most of our combo deliveries land in backyards in the residential grid between Belmont and Fullerton, but we also do plenty of park and forest-preserve events along the Des Plaines River. For those, we bring a generator so you are not tied to an outlet, and we will scope the site with you ahead of time. We have rolled combos into graduation parties for East Leyden families, parish festivals, and neighborhood end-of-summer bashes alike.

Our 4.9-star rating across 1,000+ five-star reviews is built on showing up on time and bringing genuinely clean equipment — the kind of thing River Grove neighbors notice and mention to each other. We also keep a flexible weather policy: call before 7am on event day to reschedule, take a year-long credit, or get a refund if the forecast turns on you.

Not totally sure a combo is the right call? If your crowd is mostly little ones, a simpler River Grove bounce house may be plenty, and on a scorcher you might prefer a dedicated water slide built for serious soaking. Planning a larger event with multiple attractions? Our event rentals catalog has everything from tables to additional inflatables. Getting the most value out of one rental

The reason combos are our best value is simple math: you are renting a single unit that does the job of two, which means one delivery fee, one footprint, and one setup instead of juggling separate attractions. For a River Grove family watching the party budget — and most of us are — that is the sweet spot between keeping the kids entertained for hours and not overspending. The basketball hoop and pop-up obstacles inside many of our combos also add little games that keep older kids inventing their own challenges long after the novelty of a plain bounce wears off.

When you book, give us a sense of the youngest and oldest kids who will be playing and roughly how many at once. That helps us recommend a combo with the right slide height and bounce-floor size so nobody is waiting in a long line and the little ones are not getting bowled over by the big kids. Our delivery team knows River Grove well, from the residential blocks near the village hall to the streets backing up to the forest preserve, so they arrive ready for tight access and quick, clean setups. We position the unit, anchor it properly for your surface, run the safety walkthrough, and return at the end of your window to pack everything out. You get a full afternoon of two-in-one fun and a stress-free day — which is exactly what a good party rental should deliver.
